April 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this session, we will help you learn how to write a Letter of Intent and/or Long-Term Advocacy Plan. If you have a loved one with special needs, it is important to make sure you have proper documentation in place to provide to the next primary caregiver/advocate in the future. Both the Letter of Intent and Long-Term Advocacy Plan detail your loved one’s unique history, experiences, habits, and medical information. It also states your wishes for him/her in the future. Presenter: Evelyn Gu, Assistant Director of Trusts, The Arc of Northern Virginia Due to the growing health concerns caused by COVID-19 (coronavirus), and upon the guidance of local, state, and national health agencies, we will be holding this presentation via a webinar.
