PWC Community Services has been chosen as one of the pilot implementation sites for the new Marcus Alert legislation. One integral piece in developing a better response to mental health crisis calls in our community is to form a mission workgroup of stakeholders. Ideally, workgroup members will have had some interaction whether personally or professionally with mental health crisis services. This experience could be in the form of themselves, family, or friend interacting with the police or Community Services during a mental health crisis, or having an interest in enhancing services for others.
