- AdvocacyHello! The National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking short term, bilingual foster parents. We are a nationwide organization, and we have recently opened an office in Virginia. We work with immigrant children who have crossed the border, helping them safely reunite with their families or sponsors. Currently, we are seeking Latin families to host children during their stay with our agency. We understand that considering fostering a child can feel overwhelming, and it's an important decision. We truly appreciate you taking the time to read this message. Parenting can be incredibly rewarding. It’s an opportunity to provide stability and care for a child during a critical time. Short-term fostering allows you to make a meaningful impact without a long-term commitment. Additionally, we offer comprehensive support and training to assist you every step of the way. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please contact our recruiter at jmoreno@nyap.org or 855-JORNADA (855-567-6232). .........................................................................................................................................................................................
